Roll for iniative, monkey-boy!!

*LOOKING FOR FRIENDSHIP ONLY; I have a girlfriend already, thanks!* Taking awards for numerous characters, I've played Amtgard (Boffer-type LARP) for several years. While I enjoy the opportunity to act out a character and get some good roleplaying in, I find it hard to take any LARP seriously that uses rock-paper-scissors or the rolling of dice as a method of combat. I prefer to put the ACTION in Live Action Role Play! To me, a LARP can be a mix of both combat and roleplay, so it's not entirely about stick-jockery.
